Stainless steel highlights

Corrosion-resistant and able to take a high polish, stainless steel is both decorative and functional when used to add highlights to a cycle frame. It can be used where paint loss due to wear or flaking would mar a painted finish or where it can add visual appeal. 

Stainless steel dropouts, head badge, head tube rubbing strips and seat stay eyes are standard; options include polished lugs and main frame tubes. Fork blades and rear stays can be part-polished to give a classic appearance.
